Barcelona front three are best in club's history says former striker David Villa

Barcelona's attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar is the best in the history of the club according to former fan favourite David Villa.
The 34-year-old, who is now playing out the twilight of his career at MLS side New York City FC, lifted eight trophies during his time at Barca between 2010 and 2013, including the Champions League. He played alongside Messi, Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto'o, but believes the current line-up is even better.
He emphatically toldSport: 'Without a doubt it's the best trident in Barca's history. It's undoubtedly the best.' Villa added: 'The numbers speak for themselves. You only have to analyse them, they're brutal, individually and collectively.'
Indeed, despite a two-month lay-off with injury, Messi has managed 12 goals in 17 appearances for Barca this season.Fellow Ballon d'Or nominee Neymar, meanwhile, has16 in 19. Suarez has 24 in 24. Barca have won five trophies in 2015, the most recent being the Club World Cup which saw them beat River Plate 3-0 in the final last weekend. The Catalan club are currently top of La Liga with 35points, the same as second-placed Atletico Madrid but are ahead on goal difference.
