No CAF award for Super Eagles


The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has released the final list of nominees for various categories of the 2015Glo-Caf awards with the Super Eagles conspicuously missing from the team of this year's nominees.
There is also no Nigerian player in the top three for the prestigious African Player of the Year ( APOY) award.Yaya Toure of the Ivory Coast, Dede Ayew of Ghana and Gabon skipper Pierre Aubameyang are the three finalists that will slot it out for the award.However, Nigeria were nominated in the Women Playerof the Year category as well as getting nominations in four other categories.The award ceremony will hold in Abuja, Nigeria on Thursday, January 7, 2016.
