Jose Mourinho had a deal in place for PSG striker Ezequiel Lavezzi just 24 hours before his sacking by Chelsea, it has been revealed.
Mediaset says on the morning of December 17, just hours before his dismissal, Mourinho had given his approval for the signing of Lavezzi.Negotiations were so advanced, that Lavezzi was slated to arrive in London 24 hours later to discuss personal terms and take a tour of Stamford Bridge and the Cobham training complex.However, in the afternoon Mourinho was sacked and the Argentine's imminent deal put on the back burner.PSG coach Laurent Blanc, meanwhile, stated just yesterday he was happy to sell Lavezzi to Inter Milan.
